It is true that all Filipinos felt sad when our very own Manny Pacquiao was defeated by Juan Manuel Marquez.
Now, it has been four days since Manny Pacquiao was KOed in sixth round
of their fourth fight; I still feel a little of sadness how he was
defeated.
For me, Manny Pacquiao is the greatest boxer ever lived; not just because he is the same as me (Filipino), but in his recent fights, I admire his attitude as a boxer. No doubt he was named "Fighter of the Decade", "The Best pound-for-pound boxer", etc.
December 9, woke up with a dream that never thought would come true.
I
told my wife that I had a dream, it was Manny Pacquiao defeated by
Marquez via knocked-out from the first punch, he threw to Pacquiao in Round 1.
The image I saw was something like the picture on the right.
The punch of Marquez knocked Pacquiao out.
I don't know what my dream was implying, but one I know that it came true somehow.
His defeat has been the HOT topic of each conversation, and everyone suddenly becomes a boxing analyst. One of the comments came to my attention was ..."he was defeated because he changed his religion".
It could be true for those people who cannot accept the loss of Pacquiao
and tries to find something or someone to be blamed of. For me, what happened to him was just simply part of the boxing or any
sports or game; either you win or lose. Apparently, this was his not his
first time he lost a fight.
That was their opinion and I respect that. =)
At the end, what happened to Pacquiao was something God allowed.
For His plan is beyond our comprehension, we just need to accept, trust Him and move on.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." -Proverbs 3:5-6
All I know as a believer of Christ...
"...that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28
I'm very happy being born again because it made me the best person I can be. =)
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" -2 Corinthians 5:17
Pacman, you're still our Champ!
I know that you'll rise again; It could / could not in boxing, but for sure it will be best thing you are called to do.
God bless.. To God Be The Glory!
